APEEN 2026 Conference Proceedings Now Available

Following the 9th Annual Conference of the Portuguese Association of Energy Economics (APEEN 2026), held on 19–20 March 2026 at the University of Aveiro, the conference proceedings are now publicly available.

The event, organised by GOVCOPP in collaboration with the BESIDE project, brought together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with the transition towards decarbonised and sustainable economies.

  • “Circularity, Decarbonization, and Community in University Sustainability Reporting: A Comparative Analysis of Top 10 Green-Metric Universities for 2023 and 2024”, presented by Teklu Wana and co-authored by Zeeshan Arshad, Ana Lillebø, and Helena Vieira, analysing sustainability performance and reporting practices in leading universities worldwide.

The availability of the proceedings ensures that the knowledge generated during APEEN 2026 remains accessible to the wider scientific community and stakeholders engaged in sustainability and energy transition processes.
