Ana Lillebø Participates in PCID Forum 2026 on Science, Innovation and Diplomacy

Ana Lillebø, Coordinating Researcher at the University of Aveiro, participated as a speaker at the PCID Forum 2026 – Portugal-Denmark Forum on Science, Innovation and Diplomacy, held on 10 September 2026 at Copenhagen Business School. She joined the panel on the European Science Diplomacy Network, contributing to discussions on the role of science in addressing global sustainability challenges.

The forum provided an important platform to strengthen international dialogue on the links between research, innovation, public policy, and societal transformation. As a member of the Scientific Council of SPOT Nordic, Ana Lillebø contributed her expertise on sustainability transitions, environmental governance, and the science-policy interface, highlighting the value of science diplomacy in fostering collaboration across sectors and countries.

Participation in this event is particularly relevant to the BESIDE ERA Chair project, which aims to advance innovative and transdisciplinary approaches to sustainable natural resource governance. Engagement with leading European experts and international networks supports BESIDE’s mission to promote adaptive and critical economics, strengthen knowledge co-creation, and enhance the international impact of sustainability research carried out at the University of Aveiro.
