The panel brought together experts from across Europe to discuss key challenges and opportunities for scaling up wetland restoration and maximizing its benefits for climate mitigation, biodiversity conservation, and societal well-being. The event provided a valuable platform for exchanging experiences, fostering synergies, and exploring pathways to accelerate large-scale ecosystem restoration across Europe. In addition, by advancing the understanding of the environmental, social, and economic benefits of ecosystem restoration, RESTORE4Cs supports BESIDE\u2019s mission to strengthen research and innovation in sustainable natural resource management and environmental economics.
